This is not
anything like a baby book. It’s a Birthday Book! It was born from the simple
idea that birthdays provide the perfect annual opportunity to preserve a sweet
moment in time as your child changes from year to year. So it’s a multi-layered
confection: annual touchstone, cherished ritual, and eternal keepsake. Birthday
Books are books that are written by our first graders when we celebrate a friend’s
birthday. The best gift that can be
given to someone is a loving letter. We
ask our first graders to think about the birthday boy/girl and write a special
note. This year, we have already
celebrated 5 birthdays. Our first
graders have become experts in writing loving letters to their birthday friends!
