Science Exploration Day - Matter
Matter
Matter is everywhere,
Matter has weight.
All three types of matter
Take up space!
Solids are matter
That keep their own shape.
They can't move around;
They stay in one place!
Liquids are matter
That can smoothly flow.
With no shape of their own,
Just watch them go!
Gases are matter
That we can't see.
Gases like to expand
As big as can be!
Matter can CHANGE:
We can add color or heat,
Mix them, dissolve them,
Matter is really neat!
