Graphs Galore

Displaying data is an essential part of mathematics because when information is displayed in graph form, it is easier to read and interpret.  Through data collection, students are able to collect, organize, display, analyze, and interpret data.  This gives the learners the ability to make decisions, predictions, and comparisons.  This past week, our students had several opportunities to create, read, interpret and identify the parts of a bar graph.  Enjoy the wonderful learning that took place this week in first grade!
